We are pleased to provide you with the 2018 PHSC Foundation annual report. The yearly
publication allows us to thank each of you for your dedication and support of college students,
faculty and staff. As the College continues to grow and offer more opportunities, the significance
of the PHSC Foundation increases.

PHSC Foundation 2018 Board of Directors
During the 2018-19 academic year, the PHSC Foundation provided 956 students with $1,078,527
in scholarship funding! An estate gift from the late Michael J. and M. Frances Skarupa provided
nearly $2,000,000 to the College toward nursing scholarships and program support. A dedication
ceremony at the West Campus in their honor renamed the M Building to the Michael J. and M.
Frances Skarupa Health and Science Building. In addition, the Foundation provided $469,687 to
the College for staff and program development. These contributions are significant to supporting
