Garden Tea Party Theme
Having a theme for your kitchen tea that carries
throughout all aspects of the party will make the
day memorable and party planning even more
fun. We loved the idea of hosting an afternoon
tea bridal shower in the theme of a garden
party, it’s a chance to go overboard with the
flowers, eat a scrumptious high tea and unwind
with close friends in the sunshine. Before
getting to the nitty gritty side of the party
planning process we decided on a general
vision of what we wanted for our ideal garden
party bridal kitchen tea; we envisioned pink,
floral and classic decorations. Next up we made
a list of everything we’d need to plan in order
to throw the perfect party; decorations, styling,
food and good company!
Choosing the Perfect Spot
It only makes sense to host a garden tea party
outdoors. When picking a spot for an outdoor
party you want to be sure that your space is
large enough for a table and chairs and allow
your guests to move around comfortably. Ideally
you also want an area that gets sunshine but
still provides some shade and shelter from rain.
Garden Tea Party Decorations
If you’re running with a garden party theme
there’s no better time to go all out with the
flowers! For a bridal kitchen tea we suggest you
spend a decent amount of time perfecting your
dining table, after all this is a low-key gathering
where the main event is eating, sipping tea and
enjoying a good chat!To set the table we used
a mixture a paper plate and cups and proper
crockery. Mixing and matching your tableware
can make a huge statement even if you think
the different styles may clash.Having a generous
spread of delicious food is of the upmost
importance at a bridal kitchen tea. Having a
delectable tea party feast will make your bridal
shower all the more enjoyable. If you’re not an
amazing baker or you simply don’t want to be
concerned about making hundreds of scones
and delica H
