Policy update The work streams are continuing to put in place policies ready for amalgamation. Here’s a summary of the policy review process, showing the progress of some key policies: Review Consult workstreams Consult residents Approval Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Pet Policy & Agreement Access (to residents’ homes) Tenancy Agreement  Tenure Absence Management Abandoned Homes Privacy Statement Complaints Grievance Play Areas Housing Options Expenses IT Acceptable Use Compensation Compare AH and VH Policies and draft an Optivo Policy. We also Complete an Equality Impact Assessment We circulate the draft to workstreams We’ve set up a joint resident consultation panel to review customer facing policies All policies go to Designated Executive Team (DET) for approval. Some will then also go to Shadow Board for approval     Disciplinary Safeguarding Flexible working Health & Safety policies (e.g. Optivo Health & Safety Policy, Fire, Water Hygiene, Lifts, Asbestos) Capability  We’re preparing for implementation with the work streams taking the lead, to ensure: Rent Arrears  z z Procedures are in place and up to date where necessary z z Changes are communicated to staff, residents, customers, key stakeholders, con- tractors z z System changes are planned in and made where necessary. Procurement  We’re using a discussion page in SharePoint for staff feedback where you can give your views and see what others are saying about draft documents.
