Golf Club membership offer for our
Feel Inspired Academy Juniors
A group of Oxfordshire children with special
needs, who learned golf at the pioneering
BB&O Golf Partnership Feel Inspired
Academy, have been offered a bespoke golf
club membership.
The youngsters have spent the last two years
learning golf at the Academy – run for boys
and girls with special needs – at Waterstock
Golf Club, near Oxford .
Now Waterstock have offered the youngsters
a specially created Feel Inspired membership.
The special membership is being funded for
the first year by a donation made to the
BB&O Partnership by the One Arm Golfing
Society.
John Low, the chairman of the BB&O Golf
Partnership said: “This is a fantastic step
forward and we look forward to the boys and
girls enjoying the benefits of becoming
members of Waterstock Golf Club.
“We really appreciate the support of The One
Armed Golfing Society and Waterstock Golf
Club.”
The membership includes:
- Feel Inspired driving range card and use of
practice putting green
- Use of equipment if needed
- Allocated tee times throughout the year to
play on the golf course

- Four group lessons (April, May, July, Sept)
- Discounted individual golf lessons for ‘Feel
Inspired’ members and their parents
- When up to a standard to play nine holes,
academy members can sign in an adult to
play with them at a discounted rate
John Low added: “When we embarked on the
Feel Inspired programme our aim was to give
our academy players the opportunity to learn
the game of golf.
“Our first group of nine students who have
completed the two years’ academy coaching
course have developed not only their golfing
skills but have received many benefits in
helping their mobility, self-confidence and
developing friendships within the group.”
The BB&O Golf Partnership programme has
expanded and is now coaching 60 boys and
girls at Feel Inspired academies in Berkshire,
Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
