Youngblood knows all about working her
way up. A former school bus driver for the
Scotland County School district, it was her
husband that convinced her to check out
Hanes Brands one summer. She was soon
promoted to supervisor and then Branch
Manager and helped to institute the move
in March of 2019 out of their Hanes Brand
Laurel Hill office to their new location in
Hamlet, across from Richmond Community
College.
It was March 1986 that Debbie Little
founded Debbie’s Staffing Services, Inc in
Winston-Salem. Armed with the belief that
knowledge, integrity, professionalism and
commitment to service are the foundation of

Today, the Hamlet office boasts four
employees with a variety of backgrounds
and experience. That diverse knowledge
helps them understand both their applicants
and their client’s needs and provide first-rate

Youngblood describes the company as
family oriented. “We want to make sure our
customers have a good experience and that
we make a good impression,” Youngblood
says. “A customer who is treated well
and whose problem is solved in a timely
and friendly manner, will tell his or her
friends about the transaction and how they
appreciated our service.”
Locally Debbie’s Staffing primarily works
in placing applicants in manufacturing,
clerical, light industrial, housekeeping
and landscaping-related fields. Customers
include Hanes Brands, Campbell Soup,
International Tray Pad and Volumetric
Building Company, among others.
Beginning wages may range from $9.25 to
$17 per hour, with many of her applicants
hired on full time with the companies.
Debbie’s Staffing has grown to service
multiple locations across the U.S. and is the
staffing service of choice in markets across
the country.
