TREATING CHILDREN AS
UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS
K
ids campus is a privately owned
child development center.
“In 2005 Kids Campus was formed
to create an early childhood education
environment far superior to any available
in any area we operate in, said Kayla Ward,
part owner of Kids Campus.
Children learn through play and hands-on
activities, experimentation and exploration,
which helps their cognitive, physical,
emotional, and social development.
“We value our parents, our staff, and the
opportunity that we have to be a part of
your child’s development,” said Ward. “The
impact that we can have as partners for your
children is beyond measure. We believe
that parents leaving their children with us
should feel confident that the quality of care
and environment would be as nurturing and
safe to their child as in their own care, if not
better.”
Kids campus operates out of three locations.
Those locations include:
• 497 Produce Market Road, Laurinburg
• 18501 Fieldcrest Road, Laurel Hill
• 102 Pine St., Maxton
Kids Campus believes each child is a unique
individual, and nurtures each child’s unique
qualities and potential. They provide a
physical environment that is a safe, and
healthy, clean and child friendly and are
committed to excellence in services and
strive to maintain a professional work
atmosphere.
“We support families through strong
partnerships,” said Ward.
The owners and operators of Kids
Campus strive to provide developmentally
appropriate activities that focus on the
process of learning by helping the children
enjoy successful experiences in the
classroom where they offer challenging
play and learning choices at different
developmental levels.

“We provide learning centers that allow
children the opportunity to explore,
to experience and most importantly to
succeed,” said Ward. “We are committed to
providing the highest quality childcare, early
education, and work/life solutions in the
nation,”
Kids Campus currently has a total of 272
children between their early childhood
education and after-school services, ranging
in ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
“Compared to other facilities our rates are
a little more higher based on the services
and care that is provided by all three Kids
Campus locations,” said Ward.
They offer Watch Me Grow cameras that
allow parents to log on at any time and view
their children during their stay.
“We as well offer Parent TV, Tadpoles,
Funshine curriculum, locked facilities,
transportation, nutritional meals, on-site
splash pad, NC Pre-k (Laurinburg location
only), and much more,” said Ward.
Parents are encouraged to stop by whichever
facility they would like for their children to
attend in order to receive the application.
Registration fee is $25 and is due once the
director has assigned a start date. This is a
one-time, nonrefundable charge.
“We love for parents to stop by for a tour at
their earliest convenience, said Ward.
The Kids Campus mission is to provide a
secure, nurturing, loving and stimulating
environment that encourages and promotes
developmental growth in all areas of
learning as well as help children to develop
to their fullest potential.
