A Message from Our Leadership

B ob Jaeger, President
We are excited to share our annual report much earlier in the year, while 2025 is still fresh in our minds. You will see some new features, while others have been left out for brevity’ s sake. A portion of this report is dedicated to Partners’ plans for the coming year, but we can no longer list all the sacred places we’ ve served in the past year— there are simply too many! Also, our financial summary will be shared later in the year once our audited statements are ready.
Ensuring our organization’ s future, and the work we do to support a stronger future for America’ s older and historic religious properties, requires much planning and preparation. We’ ve worked hard to set goals and a course of action to ensure that sacred places will continue to define and serve American communities, even as those communities change.
Just as our nation’ s religious properties represent an investment of generations, Partners is the result of 37 years of investment by countless individuals, foundations, and Board and staff members. We thank you for recognizing the value in America’ s religious properties and helping us ensure that sacred places remain centers of civic life.
Over the past year we’ ve developed a new strategic plan for our organization. This plan will guide Partners over the next three to five years as we seek to:
• Build accessible, multifaceted programs serving a wide array of American congregations.
• Invest in sacred places and inspire additional support.
• Better understand— and communicate— the impact of sacred places in their communities.
We are also committed to building Partners’ organizational strength in areas such as our financial resources, communications, staff and Board, and structure and operations.
Together, these goals advance our shared vision: to serve as a national thought leader and trusted resource for the stewardship and renewal of older and historic sacred places across diverse faith traditions and their broader communities.
Thank you for being a partner in our work to pursue our goals and live out our mission. Please be in touch! We’ d love to know what you think of this new reporting format, and we look forward to sharing more updates in the coming year. Please reach out if you have any feedback, questions, or ideas.
