PARTNERS FOR SACRED PLACES LEGACY SOCIETY
The Partners Legacy Society honors individuals who have supported Partners for Sacred Places through planned gifts, or gifts that last in perpetuity. The generosity and foresight of these individuals ensures that Partners can sustain its critical mission-based work for years to come.

HELEN H. FORD 1934-2025
Ocean Grove Camp Meeting, in Ocean Grove, NJ, was Helen Ford’ s sacred place. She took her three boys each year when they were young, attended countless family gatherings there, and rented a tent there each summer after she retired. According to her son Joe, Helen’ s“ tent was right next to the auditorium, and she loved to listen to the organ music as well as the many pastors that came to preach.”
Religious gathering places and the impact they have in helping others were important to Helen, which is why she generously supported Partners for Sacred Places for 20 years and left a bequest to continue her support after she passed away earlier this year. Helen’ s gifts were always anonymous, so with the permission of her sons, this is the first time her name has appeared in any of Partners’ publications.
“ Helen was much more than a donor and supporter of our work,” said Bob Jaeger, Partners’ President.“ Over the years she became a friend and confidante. She always read our magazines from cover to cover and had questions and observations to offer. She was getting out less often over the last year, so she missed our Organ Festival in Philadelphia,

but we think she would have loved it!”
Helen has been a big part of Partners’ history, and she will be missed. But through her support, she has helped hundreds of the sacred places that she loved continue to serve as spaces to gather, learn, serve neighbors, and listen to music.
