WHY I GIVE

Lynn Hunt Gray first learned about Partners from her pastor and long-time friend , Rev . Bill Bryan ( a Board member at the
O time ). “ After several discussions about Partners he asked me if I would be interested in serving on the Board ,” Lynn recalls . “ At the time I was a single mother raising two children and starting a new law firm , so I had to decline . Several years later , sadly , Bill died . Another long-time friend and pastor , Rev . Katherine Lyle , approached me again about serving on the Partners ’ Board . Being in a totally different place in life , law firm well established and children mostly grown , I gladly accepted .”
As a Board member Lynn has generously and actively supported Partners ’ mission , serving as the Board Secretary and a member of the Communications and 35th Anniversary Committees , and sharing Partners ’ mission with others — both individually and at events she hosts . “ I think of myself as sort of taking my

Lynn recently joined Partners ’ Legacy Society by bequeathing her 401k account to Partners . She says , “ I made a planned gift to Partners because it is important to me to know now that my work will serve Partners after I am gone — and for my children to understand Partners ’ place in my heart .”
