WHY I GIVE

I was fascinated by Partners being able to quantify the community benefit derived from these vibrant historical sacred spaces .” — Corinne Bryan
Corinne Bryan , in Dallas , Texas , learned about Partners for Sacred Places through her late husband , The Rev . William J . Bryan III . “ Bill first learned of Partners when he served as pastor of Grace United Methodist Church . We were familiar with the financial support Partners provides older congregations , and learned so much more after Bill later joined the Board . Ever since that time we have seen Partners accomplish more and more and have had great respect for the mission and the work you do .”
Planning for the years when she will have a required minimum distribution , or RMD , from her retirement account , Corinne has made a five year pledge that will expand Partners ’ ability to serve older houses of worship in the Dallas region and around the country . *
“ I ’ m very thrifty — more like an ant than a grasshopper . Contributing through an RMD along with a five-year pledge makes the contribution very doable for me . Partners is important , and I know Bill would have wanted us to support it in a fulsome way .”
