Partners for Sacred Places envisions a world in which sacred places are supported and recognized as active centers of community . The commitment of the individuals and foundations on the following pages represents a shared understanding of the enormous value of our nation ’ s historic sacred places , and the challenge to support these anchor institutions before they are lost . We are tremendously grateful for all donations and other forms of support of this mission — thank you .
We are also enormously grateful to our many partners in this work . Our organization ’ s name , Partners for Sacred Places , recognizes that energizing sacred places as centers of community requires a team effort , and our mission cannot be realized without partners in our mission .
