Only after several years, in 1997-2000 laws for partial lustration were started: ex-employees of secret servises had to be eliminated from strategical enterprices, important state institutions, education system. In 1999 the law for ex-secret agents „ partial lustration was passed, which forced 1500 ex-KGB agents to reveal their status. Secret documents were gradually revealed. When January 1, 2009 the Lithuanian Republic Law for work restrictions for ex-KGB employees expired, I myself had to register the

amendments which allowed to reveal KGB documents( www. kgbdocuments. eu; www. kgbveikla. lt). July 8, 2009 Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe( OSCE) passed the resolution „ Unison of divided Europe: protection of human rights and civil liberties in OSCE region in the XXI century ‟. This resolution encouraged states to continue the investigation of totalitarian heritage, support and encourage scientific research of crimes committed by totalitarian regimes, as well, all states were invited to reveal archives of historical and political documentation. It is not only the problem of one or another KGB agent ‟ s exposure. The accessibility and exposure of past documents do not allow misusing them for political purposes. Transparency of political climate in a postsovietic country depends on these processes as well. Some part of the society needs to tackle the past by naming those who committed crimes on behalf of the previous regime, seriously violated human rights. Therefore, this past should be indicated precisely, it must not be forgotten. However,
