What is your favorite thing about Parkview ? The Residents !
What is your favorite thing to do when you are not at work ? My fiancé has horses and I am learning more about them . I enjoy helping take care of them , and will start riding soon .
What ’ s one more thing you want us to know ? I ’ m hoping to start nursing school soon !

A chat with : Madison Keith Robbie Pool was born Oct . 17 ,
1932 , in Pleasant Hope , Missouri to Jesse and Marjorie Self . Jesse worked in construction doing road work , while Marjorie stayed home to raise Robbie and her three siblings Tom , Rod , and Vicki . Robbie went to Morrisville high school .
One day on the way home from school , she met Garland Pool . They quickly fell in love and were married
March 20 , 1948 . Robbie and Garland were married at the minister ’ s house in Halfway , Missouri . Together they had three children , Patty , Donna , and Mike . Garland worked as a brick mason in Springfield , and later became the co-owner of Stokes Masonry . Garland also served as a Baptist minister . Robbie worked at the garment factory in Bolivar for two years before working for Jerry Moffett for six years . During that time she grew a close friendship with the Moffett family . Robbie ’ s greatest work was raising her three children . She supported her husband ’ s ministry and attended church service while raising her family .
Over the years Robbie developed a love for gardening and learned to
can food from the garden . Robbie has lived a great life , and enjoys making memories with her friends . She loves her children , grandchildren and great-grandchildren . She is thankful for the friends she has made at
Parkview .
Robbie moved to Parkview in October 2020 . When asked her favorite part about living here she said she appreciates the excellent care and enjoys the food . Congratulations , Robbie , on being chosen as Parkview Health Care
