What is your job at PV ? LPN , Charge Nurse . How long have you worked at PVHCF ? I ’ ve been a nurse for 2 years . I ’ ve been at PV a little over a year . What is your favorite thing about Parkview ? I love all the residents and my coworkers ! What is your favorite thing to do when you are not at work ? I love shopping and cooking . What ’ s one more thing you want us to know ? I have two boys , they are 2 and 4 . We love to play with playdough , sand , rice , etc . We love to get messy !

Dorothy Case was born Dec . 14 , 1929 , to Anna and William Meyer in Chicago , Illinois . William worked as a carpenter while Anna stayed home to raise Dorothy and her five brothers . Dorothy grew up in Chicago and attended St . Stephens School . Growing up , Dorothy spent her free time playing outside with her brothers .
Dorothy met Jim Case before his baseball game in 1946 . They started dating shortly after . Dorothy and Jim dated for about a year before they were married Jan . 6 , 1948 , in Chicago . Jim worked for the railroad for ten years before becoming a Chicago Fireman . He worked as a fireman for 30 years . Dorothy worked in a factory , packing Kool-Aid and salad dressing . Together , Dorothy and Jim had two daughters , Diane
and Joanne , one granddaughter , two great-grandchildren , and one great -great-grandchild .
After retiring , Dorothy and Jim moved to Hermitage to be closer to
her older brother . Dorothy enjoys sewing and gardening .
Dorothy moved to Parkview Health Care Facility in October 2020 . When asked her favorite part about living here , she said , “ The staff ,
they take care of everyone and everything .” Congratulations , Dorothy , on being chosen as Parkview Health Care
