enjoy spending time with
my family.
Meet Donna Sanders, Resident of the Month
Donna Sanders was born May 22,
1957, in Buffalo, Mo., to parents Ray and
Lela Sanders. Ray worked on a farm and
milked cows. There were a total of 13 chil-
dren in the Sanders family, but only two
are living today: Donna and her sister,
Jeane. Growing up, Donna spent a lot of
time with her mother. The two would go
downtown and enjoy hamburgers together.
They also enjoyed picking flowers. Donna
would often help her mother with chores
including laundry and dishes.
Donna worked outside of the home for
a short time, but for the majority of her life she has enjoyed being
with her family. Growing up, she enjoyed playing with dolls and sit-
ting with friends outside. Donna enjoyed many afternoons sitting
outside with her neighbors, Lee and Jerry.
While here at Parkview, Donna enjoys having her nails painted,
listening to music, Bible studies, and eating potato chips. She
loves when her sister visits, and they talk and play bingo together.
Donna also enjoyed attending the 2016 Golden Age Games where
she competed by “calling the hogs.” She is looking forward to at-
tending again this year.
Congratulations, Donna, on being chosen as the Parkview
Health Care Facility Resident of the Month.
