Meet Leathel Losh, Resident of the Month
Lee Losh was born in Vick, Ark., along the
Saline River on June 14, 1925, to parents
William and Artie Higgins. There were 10
children total including Lee’s twin brother.
Lee’s father was a share cropper and she
remembers spending many hours on the
farm helping him. Lee and her siblings
would work together to help get the job
done.
After getting married, Lee worked at a gar-
ment factory in Dermott, Ark. She started
folding shirts and worked her way up to the
supervisor position. Lee has three chil-
dren: Carolyn, Marilyn and Eugene.
Lee shared that throughout the years she didn’t have many hobbies because
she was always working very hard. Later in life she began working on jigsaw
puzzles and reading, “anything I pick up,” she says. Lee also enjoys doing em-
broidery work and is very talented. She even won a medal at the 2015 Golden
Age Games for her work. Lee continues these hobbies, including bingo, while at
Parkview.
Congratulations Lee on being chosen as the Parkview Health Care Facility resi-
dent of the month!
