*** You will receive details for your child’s at home learning days from the classroom teacher
prior to the rst day of school. ***
Students will remain with their teacher and class for the majority of the day. Times that
students will be leaving the room include, but are not limited to: lunch, physical education,
outdoor instruction, mask breaks, etc.
Specials: The specials teachers will push into classrooms to provide instruction. Staff
who travel between instructional spaces will follow appropriate hygiene procedures prior
to transition to a different location within the building. Physical education classes may
occur within the gym and/or outdoors (weather permitting).
Water Bottles / Fountains: Students should bring a personal water bottle to school each
day (no glass). School water fountains will be closed. Students will have access to
classroom water faucets.
Hallways / Tra c Patterns: There will be designated patterns for directional foot-tra c
within corridors through clearly labeled markings on the oors to minimize face-to-face
contact of students.
Lunch plan: Students will have lunch in the classroom or outside. Lunch will be available
if you choose to have school lunch (menu on the EPS website). You may use the
MySchoolBucks program to limit cash transactions. With MySchoolBucks, you can add
money to your account, view account balances and recent purchases, and set up
noti cations for upcoming payments - from the convenience of your home, o ce, or onthe-go

Recess: Each class cohort will be assigned a designated area and time for recess.
Students will wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before and after recess. Outdoor toys
used at recess will only be shared within cohorts and will be disinfected regularly.
Visitors to the building: Visitors are not permitted in the building unless it is an
emergency and there has been prior approval by an administrator.
Bus Safety:
Students in grades K-5 will be assigned seats.
Siblings can sit together.
Students cannot change seats once they have been seated.
Arrive at the school AM - Riders will disembark from the front of the bus to the back
and should not touch any seats while getting off of the bus.
Bus Drivers will disinfect the bus before the afternoon pickup.
On Wednesdays, buses will be all thoroughly disinfected.
Things to know before the rst day:
