August 24, 2020 - Summer Update
Hello Parkman Families!
What a year 2020 has been (and continues to be)! I hope that you have been able to enjoy time
with family and friends this Summer, regardless of the regulations we've all been dealing with.
If your child went on any adventures during the break, I'd love to hear all about them (and see
the pictures too) so please share! I miss hearing their stories, as well as the hustle and bustle
that comes with a building full of staff and students.
Preparing for the new school year has been a large task due to the many regulations that will
keep our students and staff safe. These regulations will impact our usual day to day routines,
but safety is a priority. I think we can all agree that this coming school year will be anything
but usual... HOWEVER, the Parkman community is strong and always pulls together during
challenging times.
I have no doubt that regardless of the circumstances the Parkman staff, with your partnership,
will provide the best learning experience possible for our students. Thank you in advance for
supporting your children, supporting our staff, supporting each other, and keeping a positive
mindset. No challenge is too great for the Parkman Community.
Enjoy every last moment of your Summer Vacation and we will see you soon!
Be well,
-Principal Roman

begin working within the PBIS program at Parkman. I can already tell that this is a very
nurturing place to be and I look forward to contributing to a positive school climate in my new
