Lydia Mehrhoff dreamed of being a nurse as a kid. “I love to help
people, it’s really cool,” she said.
Now a reality, she works as a
nurse for North Central Texas Urology
and Dr. Avi T. Deshmukh.
Lydia grew up in Weatherford,
where her father was the longtime
owner of NAPA Auto Parts. She graduated from Weatherford High School
and did her nursing training in Fort
Worth. Someday she hopes to pursue
a physician’s assistant degree.
She is the mother of two young
children, a boy and a girl. Her son is
starting kindergarten this year, and
her daughter is starting pre-kindergarten, so it’s a year of big changes in
her household. When they spend time
together, Lydia said, “We like to do
all sorts of things; swimming, practice
baseball, all of the fun stuff.”
As a busy single mom, she doesn’t
have much time to herself, but when
she is able, she enjoys hanging out
