“It was fun,” Holly said. “We were flying over Fort
Worth and the pilot was pointing out landmarks. Then he
flew over the levy.”
On the levy was a sign that said, “Holly, will you
marry me?”
“All of our friends and family were there waving at us,”
she said.
They were married at 801 at Vickery, a venue in Fort
Worth in June of 2013. “We loved it there,” Holly said. “I
actually found it at a Bridal show. It was an outdoor and
indoor venue. It was beautiful.”
Her gown was an Irish lace strapless with a small train,
perfect for an outdoor summer ceremony.
“Very classic,” Holly said.
Holly’s favorite part about their wedding was, “When
I walked down the aisle, it was like it was just Jerod and
me even though we were surrounded by 300 people,”
Holly said. “I was raised by a single mom and she has
always been such a special part of my life. She walked me
down the aisle. I have one sister and she was my maid of
honor.”
Best Advice: I’m stubborn and headstrong and so is he.
I’ve learned that it’s best to pick you battles and compro-
mise.
