really miss obviously the people, the
teachers and friends specifically but
especially the close-knit environment
of a Christian school. There are only
nine of us in our class. I’m really just
going to miss all the friends that I’ve
made and gotten so close to over the
years,” she said.

coast this
fall to attend
the most
prestigious
of the Ivy
League
schools,
Harvard,
to study
mechanical
engineering with a plan to continue
his studies in business. “I want to
go into the alternative energy field,
the investment and development
of new technologies or even the
implementation of those. That’s
something that interests me,” he
said. He’s lived in Weatherford
all of his life and began WISD in
1st grade. “I have so many great
memories, but the best one was
this year’s musical. It was a lot
of effort and we definitely put our
hearts and souls into it,” Bryant said.
He was the donkey in “Shrek the
Musical” and has been nominated
for the Betty Lynn Buckley award

Savanna will
be attending
Tarleton
State
University
to study
business and
eventually
become
either a
chef or a
physical trainer managing her own
business. She’s been a student at
WCS since first grade. “I’m going
to always remember the group that
we have named ‘Havaigeighley.’
We are the four most awesome girls
ever who always hang out together,
sing at Target and go to Starbucks,”
she said. Although she will miss
her four best friends, she’s looking
forward to having a fresh start at
college and meeting new people.
She is expecting bigger classes in
Stephenville, but she said there is
a benefit to small classes. “You’re
always close to your friends and
you’re comfortable around them. It’s
like having brothers and sisters in
your class,” said Savanna.
