alarms if he wanders.
4. Lock away cleaning supplies
and other toxic liquids.
5. If he becomes aggressive or
violent, remove yourself and
seek professional help and
support from others.
As a care partner, learn how
to effectively communicate with
your husband as he changes, using
specific approaches and techniques.
Contact a local dementia support
group for support and resources.
If he is unable to be managed
safely at home, you may need
to consider an Assisted Living or
Memory Care Community where he
can be cared for by professional staff.
