his past year, The Springs hosted numerous events,
including Parker County Today’s Boots, Barbecue, and
Bachelors and Sweet Charity & Bachelorettes. This beauti-
ful event center is one of Weatherford’s newest hidden
gems with gorgeous, year-round top-notch landscaping
and an accommodating, friendly staff. The Springs knows
how to make a wedding day truly unforgettable.
During the process of planning your event, it’s good to
know that you don’t have to have your event or wedding
on the weekend; weekday weddings are rapidly growing
in popularity. The Springs venue manager, Nancy Vance,
knows all about that. Not only does she know the venue
well as a venue manager, but also as a mother of the
groom. Her son was married there, and because of this,
she most certainly knows both sides of her craft. Nancy’s
son chose to get married on a Thursday. Evidently, week-
day weddings are a really savvy way to save on budget
and are gaining popularity. They had 160 guests from
three states attend, and hosted both the ceremony and the
reception at The Springs.
