A: Teach college courses in composition, technical writing and American
and British literature. Grade papers.
Work as a freelance writer/editor
when not too busy with teaching,
grading. Coordinate our department’s study abroad trips. Next year:
England and Germany.
Q: What is your favorite book?
A: That’s a loooong answer . . . my
favorite recent book was All The Light
We Cannot See.
Q: What are some of your favorite
movies?
A: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Shadow
Of A Doubt, Shakespeare In Love,
Patriot Games, On Her Majesty’s
Secret Service and many of the other
James Bond films.
Q: What accomplishment are you
most proud of?
A: This may be too general, but living
the kind of life I want to live; I work
at a job I like most days, live in a
wonderful house and neighborhood,
have the two best dogs ever, have
good friends and a church home that
I love, am close to my family, get to
travel fairly often, and feel generally
like I’m where God wants me to be.
