Wildcatter Ranch —  Being Part of the Details Since 2004, Wildcatter Ranch and Resort has been sharing its spectacular views and authentic Texas experiences. With the growth of the ranch, the demand for having events increased. It is from the luxurious accommodations, welcoming staff, traditional Texas steakhouse, adventurous activi- ties and the impeccable views overlooking the North Texas Hill Country that Wildcatter Ranch Weddings began.  Wildcatter staff takes pride in being a part of the joy that lights up in the couple’s faces and their guests. From two families coming together on a morning trail ride, to the gentleman enjoying a friendly clay shooting competition; catching conversations over breakfast on how lovely the event went; reminiscing over photographs with the couples. It’s all in the details, and Wildcatter Ranch Weddings is delighted to be a part of the experience.  Overlooking the Brazos River Valley, the ranch offers multiple venues for each couple to design as their own with each venue featuring inclusions, custom setup and catering from Wildcatter Steakhouse. Whether a couple is looking for an elopement, intimate wedding or a celebration of up to 550 guests, Wildcatter Ranch Weddings is the perfect choice. The most beautiful features of the venue are the images guests can capture while there.  “The opportunities for exceptional images are unlimited,” Tristan Hampton, Group Sales and Marketing Manger, explained. “Wildcatter Wedding Venues are spread across 1,500 acres; the land- scape is truly the star of the property. With a full resort, Wildcatter Ranch Weddings are an ideal destination wedding venue leaving guests with an everlasting memory.” Wildcatter is also unique because of a couple’s ability to customize their wedding. “Wildcatter Ranch Weddings allow guests to dream while assisting with the execution. Whether it’s getting married on horseback, by the Brazos River, or on the Point, Wildcatter Ranch is here to serve the couple,” Hampton said.  Dove Ridge Vineyard —  That Destination Feel Without Leaving Parker County  Located a mere 30 minutes from downtown Fort Worth, Dove Ridge Vineyard gives couples a destination feel without leaving guests and family behind. Janan Benefiel and her husband, Joey, purchased the property with the vision to have a vineyard, venue and winery. “My brother, a custom builder for 35 years, and [my] husband, a master plumber, worked together to build the perfect venue that could accommodate large weddings and parties up to 425 people,” Benefiel explained.  Located on a hilltop and surrounded by 56 acres of pristine Parker County landscape that resem- bles the rolling Texas Hill Country, guests enjoy a beautiful Parker County backdrop while simul- taneously seeing the moon rise in the front of the building and the sun set on the western horizon from their back patio. They will fall in love the rustic fences that surround the venue, built with repurposed cedar trees that were harvested when the Benefiels cleared the land to plant the vine- yards and build the venue. Benefiel loves sharing the beautiful vineyard with others, saying that guests start taking photos of the amazing views the minute they get out of their cars.  A perfect place for a wedding, their first wedding was in April of 2017. They have now hosted hundreds of stunning weddings at their venue. The venue is also surrounded by vineyards that feature thousands of vines with 11 types of grape varietals. Benefiel says that they plan to plant an additional 2,000 grapevines in the spring. What makes the venue so unique? Benefiel says it’s a tie between the beautiful views that include amazing painted sunsets and the gorgeous vineyards that surround it. In hosting a wedding, 55
