P lanning your wedding can be either the most joyous chapter in your book of memories or a highly stressful time in your life, with picking a venue at the top of your impending to-do list. A venue sets the tone for your wedding, but it also requires a couple to ask themselves countless questions. How many people do we invite? Do we want an outdoor or indoor wedding? Your venue has to have the capacity to hold all of your guests … and maybe a few crash- ers. Are you going to allow your second cousin Kate to bring her new emo boyfriend along as her wedding date? Then, there is the consideration of price. What is the point of both of you falling in love with a venue that is financially inaccessible? Choosing your wedding venue can be chiseled away at the limited time that most brides have for selecting a venue. So, we at PCT have decided to save brides (not to mention grooms and mothers of the brides) some precious time and energy and bring to you our list of some of our area’s most enchanting venues. We hope that one or two will be perfect for your wedding. Believe it or not, our area has more wedding venues than you think and it’s hard to navigate what’s best for you and your special day with all the choices.  53
