PCT : What is something that few people know about you or your job ? CH : I was born in Peru , Ill ., a town of around 8,000 people . I was married to my wife after meeting in medical school . She works for Solis in Weatherford .
We have four children ranging in age from 6 years , 5 years , 3 years , and 10 months . Surgeons are often viewed as wanting to operate on everyone , but in my practice I try to treat patients effectively and quickly with a conservative approach .
Usually that means avoiding surgery unless medically necessary or failure of all conservative approaches .
PCT : What is your official title ? CH : I am an orthopedic spine surgeon .
