If you can get an art degree that ’ s great ; but don ’ t forget the business side . Learn how to market yourself — maybe some classes in marketing and communications . And expose yourself to art on your own , start going to the museums to see the great artists and [ lesser ] artists and appreciate everything you can find . And one day
you ’ ll decide , ‘ Oh , I like that ! I could never paint like that .’ Soon you ’ ll be thinking : ‘ I like that so much , but I ’ d do it a little differently .’ And that is when you become your own artist , pick up your own style .”
She intends to follow her own advice by enrolling in some classes designed to increase online savvy
and sharpen business skills . But concerning her future , she ’ s pretty much “ dialed in .”
“ I selected the perfect line of work for me ,” she said . “ I can do this till I ’ m a hundred . I just found beauty to be interesting and invested the time to learn and study it . I ’ m a happy person .”
