Fried Green Tomato
BLT Sandwich
Recipes by Vintage Grill & Car Museum
and Wild Mushroom
Ingredients Needed:
• 1/2 Cuban bread (baguette), toasted
• Green leaf lettuce
• Vintage Sauce (available from Vintage Grill
& Car Museum in Weatherford, TX)
• 4 strips Applewood smoked bacon, crispy
• Cornmeal/flour with creole seasoning
• Seasoned buttermilk (cayenne, paprika,
onion powder and garlic powder)
• 3 thick slices green tomatoes
Directions:
• Bread tomatoes in buttermilk, then
cornmeal/flour mixture, and fry at
350° for 1-2 minutes until golden
• Assemble sandwich
