The Parker County Sheriff’ s Posse accomplished a lot this year. We finished the pens in southwest corner of the arena, which established the new roof over the pens serving as the foundation for the new Chute 7 Club at the west end of the arena. Our PRCA Rodeo was a huge success, with standing room only Friday and Saturday night, which has prompted future changes to our arena to increase capacity. The Women’ s Professional Rodeo Association awarded our arena with the Most Improved Footing. Huge thanks to our members and Randy O’ Neal, our Rodeo Chairman. We also were live on The Cowboy Channel, which will help us grow even more. We finished our year with our yearly parade and gathering in Fredericksburg, Texas which was an awesome way to finish my term as captain. I have no words that would sum up the appreciation of a lot of our members who get in there and work their tail off to have a great PRCA rodeo and keep our facilities top notch! THANK YOU!!! Also, a huge shout out and thank you to my wife— we couldn’ t get a lot of things done around the posse without the support of our wives. Thank you, Hun! The Posse welcomed new members Darrell Densmore, Chuck Prather, Brad Chane, Tommy Turner, Jeremy Sheriff, Derrick Geis and Paul Hardison. The Posse was saddened with loss of Sheriff Larry Fowler, a 16- year member; Don Gill, a 45-year member; and David Carter, a 13-year member.
