Rodeo ANNOUNCER
Andy Stewart since 1995 has been one of the most sought-after voices in Rodeo.
He has announced some of the sports largest and most prestigious events, such as the first American in AT & T Stadium, Cheynne Frontier days and the 2019 Wrangler NFR. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport of rodeo can be heard each and every time he picks up the microphone.
Stewart grew up enjoying all types of sports and the outdoors but fell in love with rodeo in his early teens through team roping. Throughout high school and early adult hood Stewart had success in the team roping fields winning many award and prizes qualifying for the USTRC Finals.
Stewart was born with the gift of gab, but his announcing career began as a dare from his mother. While practicing team roping with his family he would pretend to be the announcer at the NFR. Hearing this his mother dared him to give it a try and the rest is history.
Fifteen times Stewart has been nominated for announcer of the year, three times runner up to that title. He is as busy now in his career as ever, traveling from North Dakota to Alabama all over the country, announcing over 100 rodeo performances a year.
When not on the road working, he enjoys spending time with his family, his wife Shelley of 34 years, children and grandchildren. His hobbies are duck hunting and crappie fishing.
Andy is proudly endorsed by Community Coffee, Cinch, Pattons, HYO Silver Buckles and Jewelry, Penthouse Fighting Bulls, and 3S Teams.
