PARKER COUNTY SHERIFF’ S POSSE
Hi, my name is Brenley Gilbert. I am a senior at Peaster High School and will be attending Texas Tech University next year. In my free time, I enjoy showing lambs and steers, and I’ ve been proud to be a part of FFA and 4-H for the past 11 years.
It is such an honor to serve as your 2026 Parker County Sheriff’ s Posse Sweetheart! The Posse runs deep in my family, and being chosen as Sweetheart is a cherished tradition. My great-grandfather, J. P. Binion, joined the Posse in 1959 and three of my great-aunts also served as Sweethearts: Barbara Binion Osborn in 1961, Diane Binion Kemp in 1968, and Janis Binion Dove in 1970.
My grandfather, Mark Binion, joined the Posse in 1987, and my mom, Keely Binion Gilbert, was Sweetheart in 2002. That same year, my uncle Robbie Ballard became a member of the Posse. My aunt, Bailey Binion Wyatt, was Sweetheart in 2005.
My dad, Brent Gilbert joined the Posse last year and Now, in 2026, I am honored to become the sixth Binion girl to hold this title.
I am truly excited to carry on this family legacy with great pride and gratitude.
Sweetheart
