A Mosaic Masterpiece

Wondering what to do with all those paintings and doodles your toddler creates? Check out this great idea to display them { courtesy of Maisy and Grace }
You will need:
• A big frame( check out your local charity store for cheap second-hand frames)
• PVA Glue
• Artist quality spray sealant / protectant( try your local Spotlight or craft store)
• Plenty of paintings
Method:
Depending on the size of your frame cut out a piece of card to use as a template( approx 8cm x 8cm). Cut out pieces of selected artwork and scribbles using the template.
Draw a border on the board of the frame, measured by how many squares you are going to include. Lay your squares out on the board, rearranging until you are happy with arrangement.
Glue your squares starting from the outside, lining up the squares along the border line you drew so that you have a nice clean line around the edges. Use PVA glue to secure.
Once dry, spray a sealant over the paintings to protect.
Put in frame, hang up your childs new masterpiece and wait for their proud smile when they see it.
N. B: You could also use a canvas to stick pictures to, and try cutting different shapes such as circles, rectangles or even triangles.
