RSS EDUCATORS RECEIVE ENERGY UNITED ‘BRIGHT IDEAS’ GRANTS Congratulations to four Rowan-Salisbury School educators for receiving the EnergyUnited ‘Bright Ideas’ grants. They were selected from over 150 applications in 13 counties. Kimberly Seaford/ Woodleaf Elementary Received a fully-funded grant of $355 for her project titled, “The Night Zoo Keeper.” Becky Goddard/Bostian Elementary Received a partially-fund your grant of $1,200 for her project titled, “STEM-Tastic Lab.” Anthony Johnson/Isenberg Elementary Received a partially-fund your grant of $600 for his project titled, “Creating & Collaborating in STEM.” Terrence Sippel/Southeast Middle Received a fully-fund your grant of $375 for his project titled, “Green Screen Video Projects.” Photo: LtoR Sippel, Goddard, Seaford and Johnson 6 • Jan/Feb 2016• Parent Teacher News  Thank you Walmart! Thank you Walmart®! Manager Michael Edwards presented a generous donation of a $50 gift card to each of our 20 elementary reading coaches.
