MAKE-UP DAYS*
The status of any day in the calendar can be
changed at any time during the school year if
days are missed due to inclement weather. All
days (except Sunday) between August 25 and
June 12, no matter how they are designated
on the school calendar MAY become make-up
days. Be advised the week of Spring Break
(March 30- April 2) is tentative and can be
used as school make-up days. Any Saturday,
particularly in January-April is subject to being
changed to a school make-up day. Notice for
make-up days may be short depending upon
the timing and duration of the inclement
weather. General statues and State Board of
Education policy concerning the school
calendar will be followed. The make-up
schedule will be announced as soon as
possible after an inclement weather event has
ended.
STUDENT EARLY
RELEASE DAYS
Student Early Release Days: Students will be
dismissed from school 2-1/2 hours earlier than
the normal dismissal time on four days during
the year. Lunch will be served before students
dimiss. After school activities will begin at the
regularly scheduled time.

BEATRICE R.D. HAIR dedicates her life to helping students achieve breakthroughs. In
1996 she founded the Salisbury Tutoring Academy, The One-on-One School (for ages
four to adult) offering individualized, customized programs.
In North Carolina, Mrs. Hair’s successful work has been featured on Fox News Rising,
the evening news on WGHP, WSOC, and on Channel 14. She was the nationally televised
Icon for the University of Phoenix’s School of Education for 2011 (NBC, CBS, ABC) for a
whole year. She has also been featured in The Huffington Post and on National Public
Radio.

Beatrice is a competitive athlete. She plays in an open women’s soccer league and in
men’s coed soccer. She has won racquetball tournaments and also her first triathlon.
Beatrice fosters a winning attitude in her students and has helped thousands of students
reach their goals.
Mrs. Hair has just released her new book on how to customize an individualized healthy
