GO Month
October was GO Month in Gaston County, and the focus was is
education and workforce. We are proud of our partnerships with the
Gaston Regional Chamber, Greater Gaston Development Corporation,
Gaston College, and our local business community. Because of these
partnerships, we have a successful Career and Technical Education
program that focuses on making students aware
of career opportunities here in Gaston County and
prepares students for what awaits after graduation.
Educators in the Workplace, Students@Work, Career
and College Promise, College Expo, and Career and
Manufacturing Expo are a few of our initiatives that
connect students with college and careers.
