Community partners and volunteers support students and staff at Rama Road

CMS celebrates Volunteer Appreciation Week April 7-11
April 7-11 was Volunteer Appreciation Week and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools
recognized the thousands of volunteers who support our schools and our students.
The value of their work is visible at Rama Road Elementary. Throughout the school,
there are adults interacting with students in classrooms and hallways. Outside the
classroom community partners and volunteers come together to support the well-being
of students and staff.
These partnerships are vital to Rama Road, providing help and support that might
not otherwise be available. There are between 100 and 150 volunteers in the school at one
