Superintendent Dr. Barry Shepherd Greetings Parents, Teachers and Students! I hope everyone had an enjoyable, restful summer and that you are ready for the start of a new school year. Let me begin by saying ‘welcome back’ to our returning students and families. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to continue to serve you. We also extend a warm welcome to our new students and families. Thank you for choosing Cabarrus County Schools. We are glad you’re here. Our staff has had a busy summer – getting our buildings and grounds ready for the new school year and participating in professional development opportunities designed to help us become better educators. As we begin a new school year together, I want to take a few minutes to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for all that you do for our students. I am honored to serve as your leader and to stand beside you as we work to educate the nearly 30,000 students enrolled in our system. We are grateful for your continued support and humbled by your dedication. I am excited about working with you and for you this school year. Together, I know we will do great things in support of our children. Sincerely, Barry Shepherd, Ed.D. Superintendent Cabarrus County Schools – The clear choice. CCS parents and students can access information about grades and attendance using the PowerSchool Student Login page using a secure login code.
