Beef & Beans

1. Start a pot of rice

In a deep pan, sauté

2. ½ brown onion, chopped

3. 2-3 cloves garlic, minced

Add:

4. ½ lb ground beef, cook until brown

5. 2 hand-fulls of green beans (fresh or frozen)

6. 2 tbsp soy sauce

Serve this Puerto Rican-inspired dish over rice. Best with some fresh avocado on top.

Pan-fried fruit

Wish you could make mouth-watering dessert at short notice? Fry a banana, a pear or an apple.

1. 1 banana, chunk into a small frying pan

2. 1 tbsp butter

3. a sprinkle of cinnamon

Optional:

• With a hard apple or pear, either slice thin or cook longer

• Add brown sugar to the pan

• Toss semi-sweet apples or pears in sugar
