Fall …. School is back in session . We are looking forward to Halloween , pumpkin patches , hayrides and harvest . All these wonderful things can be centered around one thing – our children . As parents , this time of year gives us a great opportunity to spend time with our children doing different things , playing make believe and honoring the bounty that we enjoy from the land .
No discussion of October would be complete without mentioning Breast Cancer Awareness Month . Our partner Radiology Associates , has provided a great article on mammography and the importance in the fight against this disease . Early detection is key !
We are excited to bring you the first article from our new contributer , Brianna Carter . She is a mom from St . Augustine and a blogger . We welcome her into the Parent Magazines Florida family . She has compiled and reviewed a list of great fall activities ! Check them out , take lots of pictures , and tag us on social media .
