Hollow Oaks Corn Maize
Take your maze experience to a new level at Hollow Oaks . The farm ’ s maze is an interactive battle of wits . Figure out the puzzle and you ’ ll be awarded with a prize . Winding through the cornstalks , you ’ ll also find trivia to keep you on your toes . Little ones can wander through the mini maze . Familyfriendly games include pumpkin bowling , duck races and a bean bag toss . Take in the picturesque views while relaxing on the hayride . If ghosts and ghouls are your thing , dare to take a journey on the haunted hay in the evenings when the goblins are about . Keep the kids close as they will give them a fright . Homeschoolers can enjoy a farm fresh , a-maize-ing field trip on Wednesday , October 13 , as the date is especially for small classes and groups . Come for trick-or-treating on October 30 from 5 to 8 p . m . The maze is open from October 1 through November 7 and hours are Fridays 6 to 11 p . m ., Saturdays 11 a . m . to 11 p . m . and Sundays 2 until 6 p . m .

Newberry ’ s Cornfield Maze
As their website says , “ laugh by day … scream by night .” Cruise on the tractor-pulled wagon around the farm while Farmer Hodge tends to the herd . But as dusk descends , watch out as the dead come to life with petrifying might . Though the daylight maze may seem serene , in the evening the spirits take over , stalking you at every twist and turn , hoping you get lost for good . If you ’ re not spooked out , try a tour through the haunted house for more phantom phenomenon .
Newberry ’ s also has a kids play area for children who do not wish to be scared . Have a grand time riding Aunt Shirley ’ s cow train . Then enjoy the swing and slide or tackle the towering haystacks . There are even peeps to greet and a putt-putt hole in one . The maze and hayride are open from September 24 until October 30 , Fridays from 5 until 11 p . m . and Saturdays from 3 to 11 p . m . Enjoy these attractions for an extra fee : hayride $ 5 , mechanical bull $ 5 and human hamster balls $ 5 .

Roger ’ s Farm
Starting October 2 , Roger ’ s Farm has an assortment of activities to keep fall festivities in full swing . Leap into action on the jumping pad , bounce through the obstacle course or test your skills with human hamster wheel . See what the new pumpkin chunkin ’ and pumpkin bowling games are all about before you find that special pumpkin from the patch . See how high you can climb on the mini rock wall , and then feed the animals before cruising through the field on the train rides . Don ’ t forget to save some energy and savvy skills for the main maze event . But beware . When there ’ s chill in the air and the sun fades from view , ghoulish spirits have been seen that want to haunt you . Keep away from the corn maize and spooky trail after 8 for there the ghosts are sure to wait . Bring your appetite as the farm has a cultivated lineup of food trucks to tempt your tastebuds . Some activities are an additional fee ( hayride , food trucks , pumpkins and pumpkin chunkin ’). Friday 6-10 p . m ., Saturday 11 a . m . to 10 p . m . and Sunday 1-5 p . m . Admission is $ 10 for 3 and older . Military and senior ( 65 +) discounts available with ID .
