Team Placement
The previous page shows common skills by cheer level. When it comes to team placement, keep the following in mind:
• Each club has its own mission and may place athletes based on club needs and turnout. Finding the right club fit is often more important than a specific team.
• Placement can depend on age, tumbling and stunting ability, work ethic and loyalty.
• Tumbling and stunting levels may differ, which can affect placement. If you have questions, ask— coaches are happy to explain.
• Repeating a level isn ' t a failure. Athletes often meet basic skills one season and return stronger with better technique and confidence the next. Progress at your athlete’ s pace supports long-term growth and enjoyment.
