Moisturizing daily after a shower is essential because your skin is more supple and will retain moisture better. Remember to moisturize from your head to your toes use and use a lotion that is rich in essential oils and vitamins.

Avoid taking very or excessive showers. Hot showers can deplete the natural oils in your skin. Use Luke warm water instead.

Decrease extended time out in the sun. If you must, wear sunscreen if you are out for prolonged periods of time. There are sunscreens with higher SPF and added moisturizers to keep your skin soft and protect you from the sun's harmful rays.
