“The Montauk Monster”
You can still find this image floating around the internet today. Everyone was amazed when something odd washed up on the shores of New York. Part of the scar and fear came from the fact that this odd animal had some vicious looking teeth. However after studying the animal they found that the reason it was not familiar to people is that it was missing most of the fur. They have identified the creature as a raccoon. When compared to other photos of a raccoon that was decomposing it is very similar. So unfortunately we did not find a new little monster to study but just felt bad for the poor raccoon. May it rest in peace. For now I guess we’ll have to continue chasing another favorite little monster to track down, the Chupacabra.
