hile there may be the rare
item on eBay that could
actually be haunted please note: scam artists have infested eBay. Scam artists will list anything as “haunted” in order to boost the price of junk. In fact, eBay has now a buyer’s guide to haunted items that clearly states “As always, think carefully before bidding."
According to www.ghoststudy.com, a
“Possessed can of Coke” sold for
$212.50. We'd drink that Coke. Hub Pages' Top Ten Craziest and Weirdest Things that ever Sold on eBay list a “Ghost in a Jar" that sold for over $55,000 and a Haunted Rubber
duck that sold for over $100.
Most of these “haunted” items will be accompanied
by a made up history of the item or a picture where
there has been a camera abnormality to prove they're haunted. Many sellers insist they just want to get
rid of the item; however, if that was the case, why
sell it versus giving it away?
One eBay user actually listed an"Ancient Ouija Board" clearly made with a glitter pen. Another listed a haunted teddy bear by the name of "Baron" that supposedly bears a skull face.....in it's crotch.
While you may think that people would
never buy items like this, there are plenty.
Some people have the money to spend on a
whim; however, others may actually believe
some of these items are haunted. Also, you
may take into consideration, any item
online or offline can be labeled as
"haunted." Buyers beware.
