So how do you scry you ask? Here are a few short steps to scrying. Don't be discouraged if it doesn't work for you!
1. Most use objects with a reflective surface but are black in color. You can purchase a scrying mirror online or make your own with a clear glass plate and some Matte black spray paint.
2. Get comfortable. Pick a place that will alow you to sit for a long period of time comfortably without being disturbed by noises or distractions.
3. Dim it down. Make sure that the area you pick is dimly lit. Some perfer to use candles. Also be sure that the candles aren't seen in the reflective
surface of the object you're using
to scry.
4. Remember. Think of the
person you would like to see
focus on the idea of seeing them
and why it's important to you.
Maybe even ask them to come.
Invite them.
5. Relax. Breathe calmly and alow yourself to
let loose. Do not be tense. Relax even your
mind and then look into the item you are using
to scry. You may notice that it changes.
6. Let it be. Do not try to control the images or do not try to think too hard. Just let the images come. Keep your mind blank, and do not ask yourself questions. Let the tool you are using to scry fade into the background and allow yourself to see what your third eye is seeing. Do not expect the images to appear on the object itself or to be crystal clear.
To many, this is an art. It can take time. You may become frustrated and ultimately decide that scrying is not for you. Or, perhaps with persistence, you may become skillful in this old and lost art.
