When a paranormal team takes the time to screen potential investigations and listen to stories, one always wants to stay as open minded as possible. Most people who believe in the paranormal do not start off that way. They witness or experience something that changes their mind. Upon telling their peers or friends, most of them will brush off true accounts of paranormal activity as fairy tale. It happens to us all. However, there are some people who will detail grand experiences of paranormal activity simply because they want the attention of you screening them and doing some kind of an investigation for them. This is not to say that they are bad people; maybe they are lonely, in need of mental help, or just love the spotlight. Whether you provide that time and attention is completely up to you though. Here are some simple tips to look for when screening an applicant or speaking with a witness:

Eyes

It’s all in the eyes. When people access information in their brains, their eyes will often shift to a certain position. This is referred to by psychologists as visual eye-accessing cues.
