What did it feel like to be investigating on live television in 2009 at the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum? What was the vibe inside that place?

Trans Allegheny was a story I will save for the Grandkids as far as amazing moments in my life. As far as being inside, there were robotic cameras filming us. We did a rehearsal the previous day and were not sure how to lead ourselves out as you are really locked in. As Mark and I stumbled through the dark we clearly heard someone come out of a room saying "People" clear as day. There was another part of the Building ( The Ice Pick Lobotomy Scene ) that Mark and I stuck our hands into a broken window to record EVP's and we clearly heard someone walking on the debris inside toward our recorders.

What is the most prolific EVP you have ever caught and what did it say?

In our home after we heard of actress Brittany Murphy's passing so we recorded in our office. Not only did we get an EVP scalding us as though we were heartless paparazzi (which I guess we came across as) but at one point we heard a disembodied voice that I could not make out. Mark thought he heard the word "Satan" whether or not that is what was said the entire vibe in the room changed from normal to dark... Very Dark!! I started writing what I heard as we played back, and covered about 3 notebook pages I could not write fast enough. They started saying things like "We can get you Anytime, Any Place, Any Where. We got freaked out and stopped recording. At this point we felt a 6 foot breeze swirl between us and decided recording time OVER!

What motivated you to delve into paranormal research?

I was Always interested in Paranormal Research. That was all I ever had an interest in. As a child I had experiences as far back as I could remember. As frightening as it was, it was also fascinating. At school, I wrote a book review on "The Amytiville Horror".

Do you have any tips on catching Class A EVP’s?

Catching EVP's, have patience. Don't provoke or use equipment with a bit of internal noise. ( Crappy Recorders)

Who is one of your biggest inspirations in the paranormal field?

Lorraine Warren

What is your favorite location to investigate? What is its story?

Our home is the most interesting place to investigate. At the same time the most dangerous to record in, as you live with the results.
