Dear Readers,
With the advent of faster and better means of communication and transportation which have resulted in globalization, coupled with liberalization of economies across the world, all sectors are facing steep competition with increasing number of players entering the marketplace. All this has forced the firms to rethink their strategies, which has made innovation an important component of management and has become a norm in organizations. It is hence imperative for the managers to keep themselves updated with the emerging trends in management, which is the sole inspiration behind this inaugural issue of “Paradigm: Nourishing the Intellect”, the annual magazine brought out by FMS Scholastic Council. The anthology contains articles pertaining to the latest trends in various domains of management, authored by budding managers from some of the premier B-Schools of the country.
