Mike was born in Killarney, Queensland Australia and grew up on the family farm.

When about 5 years old the family purchased a block of land that was mostly heavily forested. The Brosnan's spent every spare moment over the ensuing 10 years turning that block into grazing land. As a result Mike spent most of his early years in the outdoors, spending a lot of time hunting, fishing and generally having a Huckleberry Fin childhood!

As consequence of his childhood Mike has a strong attraction to the country lifestyle and pastimes in the great outdoors.

In 2006 a serious knee injury abruptly ended a football career. Unable to sit still he took up a bow and a blur of experiences later, Mike was traveling the world and competing with the best in the business.

Archery has taken him to amazing places, introduced him to fantastic people and greatly enhanced his life!
